After spending another day at the cabin, myself and my immediate family (minus my dad) decided to take advantage of the weather and make the drive to Pigeon Forge to visit Dollywood for the first time in probably two decades. It felt like experiencing a brand new theme park for the first time, as evidenced by how often I got the names of rides incorrect and how often I felt the need to consistently orient myself, but I was incredibly excited to be there! We rode all the major rides we wanted to, including Lumberjack Lifts, Mystery Mine, Blazing Fury, Thunderhead, Whistle Punk Chaser, Wild Eagle, Firechaser Express, Smoky Mountain River Rampage, Tennessee Tornado, Daredevil Falls, Lightning Rod, Dragonflier, and a few other smaller rides. We watched the Kingdom Heirs gospel quartet, as well as the Wildwood Tree light show and evening Dollywood fireworks. Wildwood Grove had just recently opened barely two months previously, so it was really cool to get to experience the rides and food there in addition to everything else in the park! I feel so incredibly thankful that I was able to go with the family, and I would absolutely love the opportunity to go back in the future to experience it all over again (as well as have more cinnamon bread and new food options for lunch and dinner)! Thanks so much for watching (especially when the video is this long) and I’ll see you soon!
