in the Fall, I teamed up with FabStayz, the short term rental site for LGBTQ+ travelers to take a road trip through Tennessee with my pal Kenz (follow her on IG at @KenzPlusTrends – https://www.instagram.com/kenzplustrends/
We started out driving from Cleveland to the Great Smoky Mountains. We stayed in a rustic secluded cabin in Sevierville complete with two bedrooms, two baths AND a hot tub. You can book it here: https://my.fabstayz.com/lodging/mountain-air/16543
While in the Great Smoky Mountains, we hiked to the top of Clingman’s Dome – it’s the highest point in Tennessee and the third highest mountain east of the Mississippi.
We also took a Pink Jeep tour through the Smoky Mountains that allowed us to see a greater distance in a shorter amount of time. Our driver also took us to some of the best spots to see the stunning Fall foliage.

We explored a bit of Gatlinburg before heading to our next destination over in Bradyville, Tennessee –
The Tennessee Time Machine – https://my.fabstayz.com/lodging/the-tennessee-time-machine-itself-a-destination/17994
The Tennessee Time Machine is an authentic bus from the 1970s restored with 2020s amenities but definitely a step back in time.
After our stay at the Tennessee Time Machine, it was about a 40 minute drive to Nashville. While in Nashville, we drove around looking for the city’s mazing street art and murals. We dined at Edley’s BBQ and Biscuit Love taking in some of the city’s famous hot chicken and biscuits!
