Ragtime Right Now: Racial Identity in Nashville

On October 25th, 2021, Nashville Repertory Theatre hosted a free virtual discussion ahead of its production of Ragtime the Musical. This important conversation was about the social, political and cultural themes in the show and how they are eerily similar to current events. Ragtime is set in the early 1900s, during the era of Jim Crow. Members of the Nashville community discussed these challenging themes as they applied it to the community in Nashville, TN.

We invite you to attend a performance of Ragtime the Musical, November 11-14, 2021, at TPAC’S Polk Theater (505 Deaderick Street; Nashville, TN). Tickets available at nashvillerep.org/tickets or by phone at TPAC’s Box Office: (615) 782-4040.
