In the fight against COVID-19, the White House is sharing concerns with FOX 17 News over the growing number of cases in Tennessee.
“Tennessee is among the top states of new cases and you’re still increasing which is a concern, even of the data I have this morning,” Admiral Brett Goroir of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
Dr. James Parnell, head of the emergency department at Sumner Regional Medical Center and president of the Tennessee American Academy of Emergency Medicine, shares similar concerns in a lengthy and emotional Twitter thread. He urged Gov. Lee to issue a statewide mask mandate and do more to stop the spike because he says we’re almost at the point of no return.
