The Song (Short film with David Olney)

Americana singer-songwriter David Olney toured the Netherlands each couple of years, but
this time he struggles with physical issues that comes as a price for his love for touring.

The Song is a short music documentary about the artist David Olney (1947-2020) . Olney was one of the most influential Americana singer-songwriters, his writing was masterful and he had his own distinct style. The story itself is told from David’s own perspective, with the focus on his way of looking on the Netherlands. The story is supported by music, lyrics and poetry. The film was shown on a number of festivals, including Nashville Film Festival and IN-EDIT Festival NL.
