The news clip read: “Patty Griffin, John Hiatt to Perform at 2nd Annual Americana’s Cross-County Lines”. That’s when we decided to take a little trip out and see for ourselves.
The weather was great. The food was good. The artists were incredible. The audience was wonderful. Everyone there was certainly having an awesome time.
Enjoy these short clips from an incredible Americana Music Festival in Franklin, TN. Featuring: Ashley Monroe, Patty Griffin, and John Hiatt. Performing at 2nd Annual Americana’s Cross-County Lines celebration in the Park at Harlinsdale Farm, Franklin, TN. What a cool place that was. Thanks to our friend Rene for putting us on the list!
ABOUT THE SHOW:
This year’s event is the follow-up to the 2013 inaugural fundraising event hosted by Jerry Douglas with Alison Krauss, Amos Lee and Shawn Colvin, to name a few. Americana’s Cross-County Lines is intended to raise awareness and funds to support the not-for-profit association’s mission: To advocate for the authentic voice of American roots music around the world.
This was first major music event at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. It is located across the street from the Americana Music Association headquarters in Franklin’s landmark Factory at Franklin building, which was originally built as a woodburning stove factory in 1929. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
